A double room on the ground floor of the former coach-house, in the hotel grounds. As with all our rooms, there is plenty of private parking as well. There is a brand new en-suite shower room. With its own external entrance, this bedroom is ideal for dog owners. This room can be combined with the Heron single room to create a private suite.

The room is named after the otters that live in the lake opposite, whilst badgers and deer wander in the hotel grounds.

“From the moment we walked through the door the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were all very friendly. Our room was large and warm with a magnificent bath with plenty of hot water. Our evening meal was excellent - the bruschetta is to die for. We had three courses and could hardly move. All portions were very generous. The breakfast was also excellent fresh and hot. I would most definitely stay here again.”
