A double room on the ground floor of the former coach-house, in the hotel grounds. As with all our rooms, there is plenty of private parking as well. There is a brand new en-suite shower room. With its own external entrance, this bedroom is ideal for dog owners. This room can be combined with the Heron single room to create a private suite.

The room is named after the otters that live in the lake opposite, whilst badgers and deer wander in the hotel grounds.

The location is stunning, the rooms were big and there was a real sense of being in a listed building dating back to the 17th century. Then on top of all this there was the badgers - fed nightly at 8.45p.m. A must see!”
