Xmas & New Year

Enjoy a picture perfect Christmas in the heart of the Lake District. With roaring log fires in the bar and someone else doing all the cooking and washing up, all you have to do is relax in the stunning surroundings. There is a good chance of snow on the high fells, and the certainty of mulled wine on the bar. No formality here, just a friendly and laid back country inn atmosphere. Go on bracing walks or do nothing except over-indulge, it’s all fine by us.

26th - 30th December: Open as normal 12pm - 10pm

New Year’s Eve: Open until at least midnight. Free entry. Evening table reservations up until 8.30pm.
