Dora's Room + (double & single bed)
An atmospheric room with a four poster bed and single bed, large TV and comfortable seating. There is a feature wall with William Morris wallpaper and charming old windows giving some woodland views. This is quite a large room and has an ensuite with bath with shower over it. The room is named after William Wordsworth’s daughter, Dora. The poet bought the plot of land over which this room looks to build a house for her.
“ Hotel was set in stunning scenery between Ambleside & Grasmere with lots of great walks. Friendly & relaxing atmosphere. Our room, Buttermere, was warm & cosy with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless.”
