Dora's Room + (double & single bed)
An atmospheric room with a four poster bed and single bed, large TV and comfortable seating. There is a feature wall with William Morris wallpaper and charming old windows giving some woodland views. This is quite a large room and has an ensuite with bath with shower over it. The room is named after William Wordsworth’s daughter, Dora. The poet bought the plot of land over which this room looks to build a house for her.
“ The staff were really friendly, the food was plentiful and of good quality. They also served a good variety of real ales. The location is stunning, the rooms were big and there was a real sense of being in a listed building dating back to the 17th century. Then on top of all this there was the badgers - fed nightly at 8.45p.m. A must see!”
