Dora's Room + (double & single bed)
An atmospheric room with a four poster bed and single bed, large TV and comfortable seating. There is a feature wall with William Morris wallpaper and charming old windows giving some woodland views. This is quite a large room and has an ensuite with bath with shower over it. The room is named after William Wordsworth’s daughter, Dora. The poet bought the plot of land over which this room looks to build a house for her.
“We stopped for lunch here at the Badger Bar. Wonderful for walkers. It was quiet when we arrived, but soon filled up with people and dogs. The barmaid was chatty and pleasant. Perfect place to break for lunch.”
