A standard double room. The ensuite has a bath with shower over. As in all rooms your booking includes en-suite facilities, toiletries, TV, central heating, hospitality tray. Good home-cooked food is served in the bar each evening, and we sell a fine selection of well-kept real ales as well.

And a truly unique feature - we have a colony of badgers in the grounds, and we feed them every evening. Come and watch, it is quite a sight: you can get really close.

“ We have never stayed anywhere so relaxing and charming. The room, Kentmere, was huge and had everything, including a large separate bathroom, with both bath and shower separate. The food was beautiful and the portions plenty. There was a choice of cooked breakfasts each morning as well as cereal and toast. We have never experienced such helpful, pleasant, happy staff. They did everything to make our stay both enjoyable and relaxed, especially Caroline, any request we made, no matter how big or small was met. We actually stayed an extra night and will definitely be returning. Our three nights left us thoroughly refreshed and rejuvenated.”
