This room is many people’s favourite, full of character and history, with a definite “wow” factor. There is a stunning new bathroom with cast-iron claw-foot bath and separate shower.

“We stayed here and absolutely loved it. The room was large and comfortable and the whole building just had character. The 3-course meal we had was superb, and we ate at the hotel again the night after because it was so good. There was an excellent selection of beers.”
